2010: 170s

I finally broke past the 180s and reached the 170s! I haven’t been in the 170s since 2006, and I’m ecstatic. I know I will never see the 180s again. It’s because I no longer want to be thin. Instead, I want to be healthy.

The shift in mentality makes it easier to just keep doing what I’m doing. I feel great, every single day. I find balance. I don’t beat myself up. And I can enjoy eating out and taking a break from training.

I am also pretty close to losing 90 pounds total! Now that is just plain exciting.

End 2006: 90 Pounds Lost

I ended 2006 at 173 pounds, a total loss of 90 pounds in 6 months. It was amazing. I felt great. And, I was exercising so much that I basically ate whatever I wanted to and quit monitoring, which eventually led to my downfall. But anyway, I know that I can do it. I know I can get down to the 170s, and when I get there this time, I’m going to keep going.

The pants I’m wearing are a size 10 from Gap. And they’re the smallest size 10s I own. I intend to fit back into them one day, and then ditch them for 8s. This picture was taken in Taiwan in December 2006.
