The last time I ran a timed mile was back on March 3 when I clocked in at 9:30. Since I’m done with training for the 5K for awhile, I decided to give the 9:20 mile a go. I started with a 9:22 pace but it was a bit easy, so I bumped it up. And when that wasn’t enough, I bumped it up again. I ended up running the last minute at a 7.0 pace. Should’ve kicked it up a notch and made it a 9-minute mile. That way, my March goal would’ve been accomplished. Oh well, it’ll happen tomorrow.
I think I’m going to start aiming for the 8:30 mile now. That doesn’t seem too bad. Plus, if I can decrease my individual mile times, I can improve upon my 5K time, which I want to run in 34 minutes (11-minute pace).
Running goals are slowly being accomplished!

I know it says 10:08, but that’s because I use the first minute for a walking warm-up.
